- "If one of you loves his companion, let him go to his house and inform him that he loves him for the sake of Allāh ﷿." It was narrated by Ibn al-Mubārak in "al-Zuhd" (188/1 from al-Kawākib 575, number 712 - India edition): Ibn Lahīʿah narrated to us, Yazīd ibn Abī Ḥabīb narrated that Abū Sālim al-Jayshānī came to Abū Umayyah in his house and said: I heard Abū Dharr say, and he mentioned it as a marfūʿ ḥadīth and added at the end: "I have come to you in your house." I say: This isnād is authentic; all its narrators are trustworthy, and Ibn Lahīʿah's ḥadīth is authentic when narrated by one of the ʿAbbādilah, and Ibn al-Mubārak is one of them. It was also narrated by ʿAbd Allāh ibn Wahb in "al-Jāmiʿ" (p. 36).
