and al-Ḥākim, as well as al-Ṭabarānī, Abū Nuʿaym, and al-Khaṭīb in their narration, added: "except for the sons of the maternal aunt: ʿĪsá ibn Maryam and Yaḥyá ibn Zakarīyā." Al-Ḥākim said: "This ḥadīth has been authenticated from many aspects, and I am surprised that they did not include it." Al-Dhahabī commented on this by saying: "I say: there is some leniency in its ruling." He means the ruling by ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī Nuʿm. Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb": "Truthful but with poor memory." I say: and al-Haythamī mentioned the ḥadīth in "al-Majmaʿ" (9 - 201) with the first addition and said: "It was narrated by al-Tirmidhī without mentioning Fāṭimah and Maryam - it was narrated by Aḥmad and Abū Yaʿlá and their narrators are the narrators of the authentic [collections]!" Thus he said, and there is a consideration from two aspects: First: it gives the impression that their narrators are relied upon in "the authentic" while this is not the case, for Yazīd ibn Abī Ziyād, whose weakness was previously explained, was not relied upon in "the authentic," meaning Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, but was only included alongside others, as al-Dhahabī explicitly stated at the end of his biography. Second: it gives the impression that this Yazīd is authoritative in himself, which is not the case as previously explained. There is another chain for the ḥadīth narrated by ʿAṭiyyah from Abū Saʿīd with it, without the addition. It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī and al-Khaṭīb (9 - 232)
وزاد الحاكم وكذا الطبراني وأبو نعيم والخطيب في رواية لهم: " إلا ابني الخالة: عيسى بن مريم ويحيى بن زكريا ". وقال الحاكم: " حديث قد صح من أوجه كثيرة وأنا أتعجب أنهما لم يخرجاه ". وتعقبه الذهبي بقوله: " قلت: الحكم فيه لين ". يعني الحكم به عبد الرحمن بن أبي نعم. وقال الحافظ في " التقريب ": " صدوق سيء الحفظ ". قلت: والحديث أورده الهيثمي في " المجمع: (٩ - ٢٠١) بالزيادة الأولى وقال: " رواه الترمذي غير ذكر فاطمة ومريم - رواه أحمد وأبو يعلى ورجالهما رجال الصحيح "! كذا قال وفيه نظر من وجهين: الأول: أنه يوهم أن رجالهما محتج بهم في " الصحيح " وليس كذلك فإن يزيد بن أبي زياد الذي سبق بيان ضعفه لم يحتج به في " الصحيح " أي صحيح مسلم، بل إنما أخرج له مقرونا بغيره، كما صرح بذلك الذهبي في آخر ترجمته. والآخر: أنه يوهم أن يزيد هذا حجة في نفسه وليس كذلك كما تقدم بيانه. وللحديث طريق أخرى يرويه عطية عن أبي سعيد به. دون الزيادة. أخرجه الطبراني والخطيب (٩ - ٢٣٢).
