I said: thus, the musnad is weak due to the unknown status of Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyá ibn Maimūn, but it is strengthened by the mursal of al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī because it is from a different chain, and it rises to the level of ḥasan, if Allāh wills.

"Straighten the rows, for you are arranging yourselves like the rows of angels. Align the shoulders and fill the gaps, and do not leave openings for Shayṭān. Whoever connects a row, Allāh will connect him." It was narrated by al-Dūlābī in "al-Kuná" (1/39) from Abū al-Zāhiriyyah from Abū Shajarah as marfūʿ. I said: its chain is authentic but it is mursal because Abū Shajarah, whose name is Kathīr ibn Murrah al-Ḥaḍramī, is a trustworthy tābiʿī who narrated from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in a mursal form as in "al-Tahdhīb." However, it has been established as connected with the mention of ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿUmar in it, so the ḥadīth is authentic, and all praise is due to Allāh. Therefore, I included it in "Ṣaḥīḥ Abī Dāwūd" (672).

"When the sons of Abū al-ʿĀṣ reach thirty men, they will take the religion of Allāh as a means of deceit, the servants of Allāh as slaves, and the wealth of Allāh as spoils." It was reported from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī, Abū Dharr al-Ghifārī, and Muʿāwiyah ibn Abī Sufyān. 1 - As for the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, it is narrated by Sulaymān ibn Bilāl from al-ʿAlāʾ ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from his father from Abū Hurayrah as marfūʿ. It was recorded by Tamām in "al-Fawāʾid" (59/2) and al-Bayhaqī in "Dalāʾil al-Nubuwwah" (vol. 2)
