(8/126) and al-Ḍiyāʾ al-Maqdisī in "al-Aḥādīth al-Mukhtārah" (257/2) through various chains from al-Haytham ibn Ayyūb al-Ṭālaqānī, who narrated to us from Fuḍayl ibn ʿIyāḍ, from Manṣūr, from Muslim al-Baṭīn, from Saʿīd ibn Jubayr, from Ibn ʿAbbās in a marfūʿ manner. Abū Nuʿaym said: "It is rare from the ḥadīth of Manṣūr and Fuḍayl; no one narrated it from him in a connected manner except al-Haytham." I said: He is a trustworthy and noble person, and those above him are trustworthy, from the men of the two Shaykhs, so the ḥadīth has a sound isnād.

- "No man from my nation drinks wine, and his prayer is accepted for forty mornings." It was recorded by Ibn Khuzaymah in "Ṣaḥīḥ" (1/103/2) through the route of ʿAbd Allāh ibn Yūsuf, who narrated to us from Muḥammad ibn al-Muhājir, from ʿUrwah ibn Ruwaym, from Ibn al-Daylamī—who resided in Bayt al-Maqdis—that he stayed in search of ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ in Medina. He asked about him, and they said: He has traveled to Mecca. So he followed him and found that he had gone to al-Ṭāʾif. He followed him and found him in a farm walking with a man from Quraysh, and the Qurashī was weighing wine. When I met him, I greeted him, and he greeted me. He said: What brought you today, and where did you come from? I informed him, then asked him: Have you heard, O ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr, the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) mention anything about drinking wine? He said: Yes, and the Qurashī withdrew his hand and left. He said: I heard the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: and he mentioned it. I said: And this isnād is authentic according to the conditions of Muslim. From this route, it was also recorded by al-Ḥākim (1/257-258) who said: "Authentic according to the conditions of the two Shaykhs!" and al-Dhahabī agreed with him! I said: And this Ibn al-Muhājir, who is the Anṣārī from Syria, was not recorded by al-Bukhārī except in "al-Adab al-Mufrad"
