in "Taqrīb". As for his father, Ḥakīm, who is the son of Muʿāwiyah ibn Ḥaydah, a group of trustworthy individuals narrated from him, and Ibn Ḥibbān declared him reliable (1/24).

"Do you fear poverty? By the One in whose hand is my soul, the world will be poured upon you abundantly until none of your hearts will deviate except slightly. By Allāh, I have left you upon a clear path; its night is like its day." It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (no. 5). Hishām ibn ʿAmmār al-Dimashqī narrated to us, Muḥammad ibn ʿĪsá ibn Samīʿ narrated to us, Ibrāhīm ibn Sulaymān al-Afṭas narrated to us, from al-Walīd ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Jurashī, from Jubayr ibn Nufayr, from Abū al-Dardāʾ who said: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) came out to us while we were discussing and fearing poverty, and he said (the aforementioned). Abū al-Dardāʾ said: By Allāh, the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) spoke the truth. By Allāh, he left us upon a clear path; its night is like its day." I said: This isnād is ḥasan. All its narrators are trustworthy, and there is some discussion regarding Hishām ibn ʿAmmār and Ibrāhīm al-Afṭas, but it does not lower the ḥadīth from what we mentioned. Al-Būṣīrī has left it ungraded in "Zawāʾid Ibn Mājah" (1/2).
