he said: "I said: it is not opposed to it if authentic, for he is not forbidden paradise due to his parents' actions, but rather because an impure seed rarely produces something pure, and only a pure soul enters paradise. If there is purity in this type, it enters paradise, and the ḥadīth is from the general that is specified. It has been narrated in its condemnation that 'he is the worst of the three,' and it is a good ḥadīth, and its meaning is correct in this regard, for the wickedness of the parents is incidental, while his seed is impure and his wickedness is from his origin, and the wickedness of the parents is from their actions."

- "Neither the disobedient, nor the boastful, nor the habitual drinker, nor the child of adultery will enter paradise." It was recorded by al-Dārimī (2/112), as well as al-Nasāʾī (2/332), al-Bukhārī in "al-Tārīkh al-Ṣaghīr" (124), ʿAbd al-Razzāq in "al-Muṣannaf" (2/205), Ibn Khuzaymah in "al-Tawḥīd" (p. 236), Ibn Ḥibbān (1382, 1383), al-Ṭaḥāwī in "al-Mushkil" (1/395), and Aḥmad (2/201, 203) through the route of Sālim ibn Abī al-Jaʿd from Jābān from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) with it.
