- "Avoid this obscenity that Allāh has forbidden, and whoever commits it should conceal it with the concealment of Allāh, for whoever reveals it to us, we will apply the Book of Allāh against him." Narrated by Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Qaṭṭān in his ḥadīth (56/1): and from him by al-Bayhaqī (8/330): Ḥafṣ ibn ʿAmr al-Rabālī narrated to us, saying: ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Thaqafī narrated to us, saying: I heard Yaḥyá ibn Saʿīd al-Anṣārī say: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Dīnār narrated to me from Ibn ʿUmar: that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) after stoning the Aslamī said: and he mentioned it. And it was narrated by al-ʿUqaylī (203) through the path of al-Thaqafī and through another path from Yaḥyá ibn Saʿīd with it, and he added in the narration what is between the brackets. Its chain is good, and the original is authentic. And it was also narrated by Abū al-Qāsim al-Ḥanāʾī in "al-Muntaqá min Ḥadīth al-Jaṣṣāṣ wa-Abī Bakr al-Ḥanāʾī" (160/2) and Ibn Samʿūn in "al-Amālī" (2/183/2) through other paths from al-Riyālī with it. Anas ibn ʿIyāḍ also followed him from Yaḥyá ibn Saʿīd with it, and it includes the addition. It was narrated by al-Ṭaḥāwī in "al-Mushkil" (1/20), al-Bayhaqī, and al-Ḥākim
