"the orphan girl is consulted about herself, and if she remains silent, she has consented; and if she refuses, she is not coerced." And he said: "It was narrated by Aḥmad, Abū Yaʿlá, and al-Ṭabarānī, and the men of Aḥmad are the men of the authentic collections." I said: It is in "al-Musnad" (4/394/408) and also in "Sunan al-Dārimī" (2/138) through two chains from Abū Burdah ibn Abī Mūsá from Abū Mūsá with it. I said: This is a sound chain according to their criteria. It has supporting narrations cited in "al-Irwāʾ" (1828).
" تستأمر اليتيمة في نفسها، فإن سكتت، فقد أذنت وإذا أبت لم تكره ". وقال: " رواه أحمد وأبو يعلى والطبراني ورجال أحمد رجال الصحيح ". قلت: وهو في " المسند " (٤ / ٣٩٤ / ٤٠٨) وكذا " سنن الدارمي " (٢ / ١٣٨) من طريقين عن أبي بردة بن أبي موسى عن أبي موسى به. قلت: وهذا سند صحيح على شرطهما. وله شواهد مخرجة في " الإرواء " (١٨٢٨).
"Whoever maintains these prescribed prayers will not be recorded among the heedless, and whoever recites one hundred verses in a night will be recorded among the devout." It was narrated by al-Ḥākim (1/308) through the route of ʿAbdān, who informed us from Abū Ḥamzah, from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said it, and he said: "It is authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him. And it is as they said.
- " من حافظ على هؤلاء الصلوات المكتوبات لم يكتب من الغافلين ومن قرأ في ليلة مائة آية كتب من القانتين ". أخرجه الحاكم (١ / ٣٠٨) من طريق عبدان أنبأنا أبو حمزة عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: فذكره وقال: " صحيح على شرط الشيخين ". ووافقه الذهبي. وهو كما قالا.
"If you did not sin, I would fear for you more than that: self-admiration." It was narrated by al-ʿUqaylī (171) and Ibn ʿAdī (164/1)
