and this isnād is acceptable as supporting evidence; its men are trustworthy except for Sharīk, who is Ibn ʿAbd Allāh the judge, as he has poor memory. However, he is trustworthy in himself and not accused of dishonesty, so his ḥadīth is authentic when corroborated. And Allāh knows best.

"Three [types of people] whose prayer is not accepted, does not ascend to the heavens, nor surpasses their heads: a man who leads a people in prayer while they dislike him, a man who prays over a funeral without being appointed, and a woman whose husband calls her at night and she refuses him." It was recorded by Ibn Khuzaymah in "Ṣaḥīḥ" (161/1) through the route of ʿAṭāʾ ibn Dīnār al-Hudhalī that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said ... and he mentioned it. And through the route of ʿAmr ibn al-Walīd from Anas ibn Mālik, raising it. It means like this. He said: "I dictated the first report, which is mursal, because the ḥadīth of Anas that follows it is similar; if not for this, I would not have included the mursal report in this book." I said: The first report's men are trustworthy, but it is muʿḍal, because ʿAṭāʾ ibn Dīnār al-Hudhalī did not meet any of the Companions, and he only narrates from the Followers. The other report's men are also trustworthy and it is connected, except that ʿAmr ibn al-Walīd, as al-Dhahabī said: "No one narrated from him except Yazīd ibn Abī Ḥabīb." However, it seems from his biography that he was a known virtuous person, as Ibn Yūnus said:
