and al-Dāraquṭnī said: "He is abandoned." ʿUbayd Allāh ibn ʿAyzār is trustworthy as mentioned in "al-Jarḥ wa-al-Taʿdīl" (2/2/330). The rest of the narrators are trustworthy and well-known, except for Isḥāq ibn Zayd al-Khaṭṭābī, whom Ibn Abī Ḥātim mentioned in "al-Jarḥ," and al-Samʿānī in "al-Ansāb," without mentioning any criticism or commendation. He might be in "al-Thiqāt" by Ibn Ḥibbān. There is a supporting narration from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Masʿūd. He said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said it, mentioning it with the wording of the title except that he said: "their slips" instead of the limits. It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ," and from him by Abū Nuʿaym in "Tārīkh Iṣbahān" (2/234) and al-Khaṭīb in "Tārīkh" (10/85-86) through two chains from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn Yazīd al-Rifāʿī who narrated to me from his father, who informed us from Abū Bakr ibn ʿAyyāsh from ʿĀṣim from Zur from him. Al-Ṭabarānī said: "It is not narrated from Ibn Masʿūd except through this isnād, and ʿAbd Allāh ibn Yazīd is unique in narrating it." I said: He is trustworthy as al-Khaṭīb said, and he was given the kunya Abū Muḥammad al-Ḥanafī al-Marwazī, and in his biography, he mentioned the ḥadīth. It was mentioned that he died in the year 275. The rest of its narrators are reliable, and their ḥadīth is good, except for Muḥammad ibn Yazīd al-Rifāʿī, about whom there is disagreement. Al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb": "He is not strong." I said: Someone like him should at least be considered to have a good ḥadīth for corroboration, so the ḥadīth is a good supporting evidence for the ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah. And Allāh knows best
