what he did, but it was too late for regret. In addition, we have learned that there is an idea or project to expand the area around the Kaʿbah and to relocate the Maqām Ibrāhīm to another place. On this occasion, I suggest to the responsible authorities that they prioritize the expansion of the Kaʿbah above all else and rebuild it on the foundation of Ibrāhīm, fulfilling the noble prophetic wish manifested in this ḥadīth, and rescuing people from the crowding problems at the Kaʿbah's door that are witnessed every year, as well as from the control of the guard at the door who prevents entry to some and allows it to others for a few coins!

- "The best of you are those who feed others." It was narrated by Luwayn in "His Ḥadīths" (25/2): ʿUbayd Allāh ibn ʿUmar narrated to us from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAqīl from Ḥamzah ibn Ṣuhayb from his father who said: ʿUmar said to Ṣuhayb: "What a man you are, if not for three traits in you!" He said: "And what are they?" He said: "You took a kunya though you have no child, you claim lineage to the Arabs though you are from the Romans, and you have excess in food." He said: "As for your saying: 'You took a kunya though you have no child,' the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) gave me the kunya Abū Yaḥyá. As for your saying: 'You claim lineage to the Arabs though you are not from them, and you are a man from the Romans,' I am a man from the Banū Namr ibn Qāsiṭ, and the Romans captured me from Mosul after I was a boy who knew my lineage. As for your saying: 'You have excess in food,' I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: and he mentioned it." It was also narrated by Ibn ʿAsākir
