" It was also narrated by al-Bayhaqī in "al-Asmāʾ wa-al-Ṣifāt" (p. 344) with his chain from Yaḥyá ibn Bukayr, and he said: "It was narrated by al-Bukhārī in 'al-Ṣaḥīḥ' from Ibn Bukayr, and narrated from Ādam ibn Abī Iyyās from al-Layth in a shortened form, and he said in this ḥadīth: 'Our Lord uncovers His shin.'" The ḥadīth of Hishām was narrated by Ibn Khuzaymah in "al-Tawḥīd" (p. 113) and likewise by al-Ḥākim (4/582-584) who said: "Its chain is authentic."
