Sinān ibn Saʿd, and it is said: Saʿd ibn Sinān, and there is a difference of opinion about him. Some have declared him trustworthy, while others have weakened him. You can find the details of this in "Tahdhīb". And when Ibn Abī Ḥātim mentioned him (2/1/251), he only cited Ibn Maʿīn's declaration of his trustworthiness. Al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "Taqrīb": "He is truthful with unique narrations." I say: thus, his ḥadīth is ḥasan. And with the ḥadīth of ʿIyāḍ, it elevates to the level of ṣaḥīḥ, and Allāh knows best.
سنان بنسعد وقيل: سعد بن سنان وهو مختلف فيه، فمنهم من وثقه ومنهم من ضعفه وتجدتفصيل ذلك في " التهذيب ". وابن أبي حاتم لما ترجمه (٢ / ١ / ٢٥١) لم يذكرفيه غير توثيق ابن معين، وقال الحافظ في " التقريب ": " صدوق له أفراد ". قلت: فهو حسن الحديث. وبحديث عياض يرتقي إلى درجة الصحيح والله أعلم.
- "Worship the Most Merciful, feed the hungry, and spread peace, and you will enter Paradise in peace." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (981), al-Tirmidhī (2/340), al-Dārimī (2/109), Ibn Mājah (3694), Ibn Ḥibbān (1360), Aḥmad (2/170 and 196), and Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (1/287) through various chains from ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib from his father from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said. Al-Tirmidhī said: "It is a ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ ḥadīth." I say: it is as he said, and its narrators are trustworthy. ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib is only feared for his confusion, and as long as he did not narrate this ḥadīth alone, we are safe from it. The ḥadīth has already been mentioned recently (569) from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Salām, except for the first part of it, which is sufficiently supported by numerous texts from the verses and ḥadīths that have been reported with its wording and meaning. Ibn Mājah only has this part of the ḥadīth and the part about spreading peace
- " اعبدوا الرحمن وأطعموا الطعام وأفشوا السلام تدخلوا الجنة بسلام ". أخرجه البخاري في " الأدب المفرد " (٩٨١) والترمذي (٢ / ٣٤٠) والدارمي(٢ / ١٠٩) وابن ماجه (٣٦٩٤) وابن حبان (١٣٦٠) وأحمد (٢ / ١٧٠ و ١٩٦)وأبو نعيم في " الحلية " (١ / ٢٨٧) من طرق عن عطاء بن السائب عن أبيه عنعبد الله بن عمرو قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ. وقال الترمذي: " حديث حسن صحيح ". قلت: هو كما قال ورجاله ثقات وعطاء بن السائب إنما يخشى من اختلاطه وما دامأنه لم يتفرد بالحديث فقد أمناه، فقد مضى الحديث قريبا (٥٦٩) عن عبد الله بنسلام دون الفقرة الأولى منه وهي في غنية عن الاستشهاد لها لكثرة النصوص منالآيات والأحاديث التي وردت بلفظها ومعناها. وليس لابن ماجه من الحديث إلاهذه الفقرة وفقرة الإفشاء.
