he said: Abū Hāniʾ al-Khūlānī informed me from ʿAmr ibn Mālik al-Janabī who said: Faḍālah ibn ʿUbayd narrated to me, saying: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said during the Farewell Pilgrimage: and he mentioned it. I said: This is a sound isnād, all its narrators are trustworthy. Then it was also narrated (6/22) from Rushdīn ibn Saʿd from Ḥumayd Abū Hāniʾ al-Khūlānī with it. Ibn Mājah also narrated (3934) from the route of ʿAbdullāh ibn Wahb from Abū Hāniʾ with the first and last issue. Ibn Ḥibbān narrated it (25) from another route from Layth ibn Saʿd with it, and al-Ḥākim (1/10-11) narrated it from two other routes from Layth with it, and they both produced a witness for it from the ḥadīth of Anas, raised, similar to it, except that he did not mention the third issue and said in the first: By the One in whose hand is my soul, no servant will enter Paradise if his neighbor is not safe from his harm. Ibn Ḥibbān (26) and al-Ḥākim (1/11) narrated it from the route of Ḥammād ibn Salamah from Yūnus ibn ʿUbayd and Ḥumayd from Anas ibn Mālik that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. Al-Ḥākim said: "According to the conditions of Muslim." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said. It is with Muslim in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (1/49) from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, raised, with it, except for his saying "By the One in whose hand is my soul," and for that reason, I extracted it. Al-Bukhārī suspended it (4/118) from him, but he did not provide its wording, and he connected it from the ḥadīth of Abū Shurayḥ, raised, with the wording: "By Allāh, he does not believe, by Allāh, he does not believe, by Allāh, he does not believe." It was said: "Who, O Messenger of Allāh?" He said: "The one whose neighbor is not safe from his harm."
