that if He is called upon by it, He responds, and if He is asked by it, He gives." (Muslim and Abū ʿAwānah) And it was among the last things he would say between the tashahhud and the taslīm: "O Allāh, forgive what I have done in the past and what I will do in the future, what I have concealed and what I have revealed, and what I have exceeded in, and what You know better than me. You are the One who brings forward and the One who delays. There is no deity except You." the taslīm
