3 - (if I say something that contradicts the Book of Allāh, the Exalted, and the report of the Messenger (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), then abandon my statement). (al-Fulānī in al-Īqāẓ, p. 50) 2 - Mālik ibn Anas (may Allāh have mercy on him) As for Imām Mālik ibn Anas (may Allāh have mercy on him), he said: 1 - (I am only a human being who makes mistakes and gets things right, so examine my opinion; whatever agrees with the Book and the sunnah, take it, and whatever does not agree with the Book and the sunnah, leave it).
