ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu), then with the one of virtue and piety, ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) altogether. Then the remaining of the ten whom the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) guaranteed Paradise. We hold love for each of them according to the preference that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) assigned to them. Then for the rest of his Companions after them (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhum) altogether
