and they are spoken of with their virtues and remembered for their commendable deeds. We refrain from delving into what occurred between them. They are the best of the people on earth after their Prophet. Allāh chose them for His Prophet and created them as supporters of His religion. They are the leaders of the religion and the symbols of the Muslims. So may Allāh's mercy be upon them all.
وَيُقَال بفضلهم ويذكرون بمحاسن أفعالهم. ونمسك عَن الْخَوْض فِيمَا شجر بَينهم. فهم خِيَار أهل الأَرْض بعد نَبِيّهم. ارتضاهم الله ﷿ لنَبيه وخلقهم أنصارا لدينِهِ. فَم أَئِمَّة الدّين وأعلام الْمُسلمين. ف رَحْمَة الله عَلَيْهِم أَجْمَعِينَ.
Prayer behind the leaders, striving with them, and pilgrimage
الصَّلَاة وَرَاء الْأَئِمَّة وَالْجهَاد مَعَهم وَالْحج
18 - One should not abandon attending the Friday prayer and performing it with the righteous and the sinful of this community. It is obligatory as long as he is free from innovation. If he introduces misguidance, then there is no prayer
١٨ - وَلَا يتْرك حُضُور صَلَاة الْجُمُعَة وصلاتها مَعَ بر هَذِه الْأمة وفاجرها. لَازم مَا كَانَ من الْبِدْعَة بريا. فَإِن ابتدع ضلالا فَلَا صَلَاة.
