and in "al-Musnad" from Ibn ʿUmar, from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), that he said: "I was sent with the sword before the Hour so that Allāh alone is worshiped, without partner, and my provision was placed under the shade of my spear, and humiliation and disgrace were placed upon those who oppose my command." And it has been clarified that His sincere servants are those who are saved from the evils that Satan has adorned. Satan said (Sūrah al-Ḥijr, 39-40): "He said, 'My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all * Except, among them, Your chosen servants.'" He, the Exalted, said (Sūrah al-Ḥijr, 41-42): "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight * Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators." And He said (Sūrah Ṣād, 82-83): "By Your might, I will surely mislead them all * Except, among them, Your chosen servants." And He said regarding Yūsuf (Sūrah Yūsuf, 24): "And thus [it was] that We should avert from him evil and immorality. Indeed, he was of Our chosen servants." And He, the Exalted, said (Sūrah al-Ṣāffāt, 159-160): "Exalted is Allāh above what they describe * Except the chosen servants of Allāh." And He, the Exalted, said (Sūrah al-Naḥl, 99-100): "Indeed, there is for him no authority over those who have believed and rely upon their Lord * His authority is only over those who take him as an ally and those who through him associate others with Allāh."
