From Abū Hurayrah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Deeds will come on the Day of Judgment. Prayer will come and say: O Lord, I am prayer. He will say: You are upon good. Then charity will come and say: O Lord, I am charity. He will say: You are upon good. Then fasting will come and say: O Lord, I am fasting. He will say: You are upon good. Then deeds will come in that manner, and He will say: You are upon good. Then Islam will come and say: O Lord, You are peace, and I am Islam. He will say: You are upon good; through you today I take, and through you I give." Allāh, the Exalted, said in His Book: ﴿And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers﴾ (Sūrah Āl ʿImrān, 3:85). Narrated by Aḥmad. And in the authentic collection from ʿĀʾishah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhā) that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Whoever does an act that is not in accordance with our matter, it is rejected."
