as for my accumulated rights with him over several years, and other matters he knows; I did not hold him accountable for them due to my previous trust in him. I hope from Allāh, the Exalted, that He compensates me with their equivalent from his good deeds, ﴿The Day when neither wealth nor children will benefit﴾ (Sūrah al-Shuʿarāʾ, verse 88), a day when there will be neither dirham nor dinar, only good and bad deeds. The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "If he has good deeds, they will be taken from him in proportion to his wrongdoing, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of his companion will be taken and placed upon him." Narrated by al-Bukhārī, and this is truly the bankrupt person, as mentioned in the following ḥadīth in the book, number (847). We ask Allāh for safety, and I apologize to the readers, for I am distressed! ***Now, it may be beneficial to mention in this introduction, and to draw the readers' attention to, the following matters: 1- The readers will see under the following ḥadīth: 503- (Blessed is al-Shām, for the angels of the Most Merciful spread their wings over it) a solid and calm response in nine pages to a commentary by one of the esteemed Meccan scholars (1) - who passed away a few years ago - in which he inclined to weaken the mentioned ḥadīth in a letter he sent to me. I was motivated to respond to him due to his virtue and his adherence to the path of impartial criticism, which does not appear to be driven by a desire for prominence, unlike many of the emerging and deluded youth, whose concern is to hasten to respond to al-Albānī, not to clarify the truth, because they know deep down that they are not qualified for that, not because al-Albānī does not err, Allāh forbid, for no one is infallible after the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam).
