but it has a supporting narration from ʿAbdullāh ibn Masʿūd, raised [to the Prophet] with it. It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (3/76/1) through two chains from Aḥmad ibn ʿUthmān ibn Ḥakīm al-Awdī, who narrated to us from Sahl ibn ʿUthmān al-Bajalī, who narrated to us from ʿAbdullāh ibn Numayr, from al-Aʿmash, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from him. I said: And this is a sound isnād, all its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of Muslim. And it has another supporting narration from Abū Thaʿlabah al-Khushanī, raised [to the Prophet] with it. It was recorded by Abū Dāwūd (4341), al-Tirmidhī (2/177), Ibn Mājah (4014), Ibn Ḥibbān (1850), and Ibn Abī al-Dunyā in "al-Ṣabr" (p. 42/1), and al-Tirmidhī said: "A good ḥadīth."
