for this reason, I included it in "al-Ḍaʿīfah" (1254). It has another supporting narration from the ḥadīth of al-Nawwās ibn Samʿān in his lengthy narration about the Dajjāl and Gog and Magog, and at the end of it: "While they are like that, Allāh will send a pleasant wind that will take them from under their armpits, seizing the soul of every believer and every Muslim, leaving the wicked people, who will copulate like donkeys in public, and upon them the Hour will be established." It was recorded by Aḥmad (4/181-182), Muslim (8/197-198), and al-Ḥākim (4/492-494), who said: "Authentic according to the conditions of al-Shaykhayn, but they did not record it." al-Dhahabī agreed with him! They both erred in their correction of Muslim. (Yatahārajūn) means that men will copulate with women in the presence of people as donkeys do, and they will not care. And (al-harj) with a silent rāʾ means copulation; it is said: "He haraj his wife," meaning he copulated with her. al-Nawawī. I say: And it means exactly the same as (yatasāfadūn). It has a third supporting narration from the ḥadīth of Abū Dharr similar to the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah. It was recorded by al-Ḥākim (3/343) through the chain of Saif ibn Miskīn al-Aswārī, who narrated to us from al-Mubārak ibn Faḍālah from al-Muntaṣir ibn ʿAmārah ibn Abī Dharr al-Ghifārī from his father from his grandfather from the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) with it. He said: "Saif ibn Miskīn is the only one who narrated it." al-Dhahabī said: "He is weak, and al-Muntaṣir and his father are unknown."
ومن أجلها أوردته في "الضعيفة" (١٢٥٤). وله شاهد آخر من حديث النواس بن سمعان في حديثه الطويل في الدجال ويأجوج ومأجوج، وفي آخره: "فبينما هم كذلك إذ بعث الله ريحا طيبة فتأخذهم تحت آباطهم فتقبض روح كل مؤمن وكل مسلم، ويبقى شرار الناس، يتهارجون فيها تهارج الحمر، فعليهم تقوم الساعة". أخرجه أحمد (٤ / ١٨١ - ١٨٢) ومسلم (٨ / ١٩٧ - ١٩٨) والحاكم (٤ / ٤٩٢ - ٤٩٤) وقال: "صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يخرجاه". ووافقه الذهبي! فوهما في استدراكه على مسلم. (يتهارجون) أي يجامع الرجال النساء بحضرة الناس كما يفعل الحمير ولا يكترثون كذلك. و(الهرج) بإسكان الراء الجماع، يقال: هرج زوجته أي جامعها. نووي. قلت: وبمعناه تماما (يتسافدون). وله شاهد ثالث من حديث أبي ذر نحو حديث أبي هريرة. أخرجه الحاكم (٣ / ٣٤٣) من طريق سيف بن مسكين الأسواري حدثنا المبارك ابن فضالة عن المنتصر بن عمارة بن أبي ذر الغفاري عن أبيه عن جده عن رسول الله ﷺ به. وقال: "تفرد به سيف بن مسكين". قال الذهبي: "هو واه، ومنتصر وأبوه مجهولان".
