He said: "Authentic according to the criteria of al-Shaykhayn." al-Dhahabī agreed with him. And it is as they said. It has a supporting narration recorded by al-Quḍāʿī (67/1) from Ibrāhīm ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Saʿdī who said: al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī Abū ʿAlī al-Aṣamm informed us, saying: Hishām ibn Saʿd informed us from Zayd ibn Aslam from ʿAṭāʾ ibn Yasār from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī in a marfūʿ form. I said: This isnād has trustworthy men except for al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī Abū ʿAlī al-Aṣamm, for whom I did not find a biography. al-Saʿdī has a biography in "al-Lisān."

"Allāh created Adam in His image: his height was sixty cubits. When He created him, He said: Go and greet that group of angels sitting there, and listen to how they greet you, for it will be your greeting and the greeting of your descendants. He said: Peace be upon you. They replied: Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allāh. They added: 'and the mercy of Allāh.' Everyone who enters Paradise will be in the image of Adam, and creation has continued to diminish since then until now."
