"Every Muslim is sacred to another Muslim, they are brothers and supporters. Allāh does not accept from a polytheist, after he has embraced Islam, any deed until he separates from the polytheists to join the Muslims." It was narrated by al-Nasāʾī (1/358) through the route of Bahz ibn Ḥakīm, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: "I said, O Prophet of Allāh, I did not come to you until I swore more times than the number of my fingers that I would not come to you nor to your religion. I was a man who understood nothing except what Allāh and His Messenger taught me. I ask you by the face of Allāh, by what has your Lord sent you to us? He said: By Islam. I said: And what are the signs of Islam? He said: That you say, 'I have submitted my face to Allāh and have renounced [other beliefs],' establish the prayer, and give the zakāh. Every Muslim is sacred to another Muslim..." This isnād is good, and it was authenticated by al-Ḥākim (4/600) and al-Dhahabī agreed with him.

- "O Allāh, forgive his sin, purify his heart, and guard his chastity." It was narrated by Aḥmad (5/256-257): Yazīd ibn Hārūn narrated to us, Ḥarīz narrated to us, Sulaym ibn ʿĀmir narrated from Abū Umāmah who said: "A young man came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and said: O Messenger of Allāh, permit me to commit adultery. The people turned to him and rebuked him, saying: Stop, stop! The Prophet said: Come closer, so he came near and sat down. The Prophet said: Would you like it for your mother? He said: No, by Allāh, may Allāh make me your ransom. The Prophet said: Nor do people like it for their mothers. He said: Would you like it for your daughter? He said: No, by Allāh, O Messenger of Allāh, may Allāh make me your ransom. The Prophet said: Nor do people like it for their daughters. He said: Would you like it for your sister? He said: No, by Allāh, may Allāh make me your ransom. The Prophet said: Nor do people like it for their sisters. He said: Would you like it for your paternal aunt? He said: No, by Allāh, may Allāh make me your ransom. The Prophet said: Nor do people like it for their paternal aunts. He said: Would you like it for your maternal aunt? He said: No, by Allāh, may Allāh make me your ransom. The Prophet said: Nor do people like it for their maternal aunts. Then he placed his hand on him and said: O Allāh, forgive..
