"Beware of everything that requires an apology." Narrated by al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Mukhtārah" (131/1) from ʿAmr ibn al-Ḍaḥḥāk, who said: My father al-Ḍaḥḥāk ibn Makhlad narrated to us, who was informed by Shabīb ibn Bishr from Anas ibn Mālik as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I said: This isnād is good; its men are trustworthy, and there is some discussion about Shabīb that does not harm [the authenticity]. Al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb": "Truthful but makes mistakes." Al-Manāwī said: "It was also narrated from Anas by al-Daylamī in 'Musnad al-Firdaws,' and its isnād is good. It was also extracted by al-Ḥākim in 'al-Mustadrak' from the ḥadīth of Saʿd, and by al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Awsaṭ' from the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿUmar and Jābir." I said: In the ḥadīth of Jābir, there is Muḥammad ibn Abī Ḥumayd, who is unanimously considered weak as mentioned in "al-Majmaʿ" (10/248).

"The example of the believer is like that of a bee; it eats only what is pure and produces only what is pure." Narrated by Ibn Ḥibbān (no. 30) and Ibn ʿAsākir (2/43/1) through the route of Muʾammal ibn Ismāʿīl, who said: Shuʿbah narrated to us from Yaʿlá ibn ʿAṭāʾ from Wakīʿ ibn ʿAdas from his uncle Abū Razīn, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said.
