- "Yes, it will be repeated for you until every rightful person receives their due." It was recorded by Abū Yaʿlá in "his Musnad" (p. 45/1) from Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd, who narrated from Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr, from Yaḥyá ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ḥāṭib, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Zubayr, from al-Zubayr who said: "When this verse was revealed * (Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die) * al-Zubayr said: O Messenger of Allāh, will what happens between us in this world be repeated for us along with the specific sins? He said: "and he mentioned it." I say: This isnād is good, all its men are trustworthy. Then it was also recorded (46/1-2) through the route of Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah from Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr with the wording: "When (Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will dispute) was revealed, al-Zubayr said: I said: O Messenger of Allāh, will our disputes in this world be repeated for us? He said: Yes, he said: I said: Indeed, the matter is severe." It was also recorded by al-Tirmidhī (2/216) and Aḥmad (1/164) from this route, and Aḥmad added: "And when (Then you will surely be asked that Day about the pleasure) was revealed, al-Zubayr said: O Messenger of Allāh, about what pleasure will we be questioned? It is only - meaning - the two black things, dates and water, he said: Indeed, that will happen." This was also recorded by al-Tirmidhī in another place (2/239) and he said after it:
- " نعم ليكررن عليكم حتى يرد إلى كل ذي حق حقه ". أخرجه أبو يعلى في " مسنده " (ق ٤٥ / ١) عن محمد بن عبيد حدثنا محمد ابن عمرو عن يحيى بن عبد الرحمن بن حاطب عن عبد الله بن الزبير عن الزبير قال: " لما نزلت هذه الآية * (إنك ميت وإنهم ميتون) * قال الزبير: يا رسول الله أيكرر علينا ما يكون بيننا في الدنيا مع خواص الذنوب؟ قال: " فذكره. قلت: وهذا إسناد جيد، رجاله كلهم ثقات. ثم أخرجه (٤٦ / ١ - ٢) من طريق سفيان بن عيينة عن محمد بن عمرو به بلفظ: " لما نزلت (ثم إنكم يوم القيامة عند ربكم تختصمون) ، قال الزبير: قلت: يا رسول الله ويكرر علينا خصومتنا في الدنيا؟ قال: نعم، قال: قلت: إن الأمر إذا لشديد ". وأخرجه الترمذي (٢ / ٢١٦) وأحمد (١ / ١٦٤) من هذا الوجه، وزاد أحمد: " ولما نزلت (ثم لتسألن يومئذ عن النعيم) قال الزبير: أي رسول الله أي نعيم نسأل عنه؟ وإنما - يعني - هما الأسودان التمر والماء، قال: أما إن ذلك سيكون ". وهذا أخرجه الترمذي أيضا في مكان آخر (٢ / ٢٣٩) وقال عقبه:
