- "Indeed, you will have the fine carpets." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (3631 and 5161), Muslim (6/146), Abū Dāwūd (4145), al-Nasāʾī (2/94), and al-Tirmidhī (2774) - who authenticated it - and Aḥmad (3/294), all from the route of Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir from Jābir (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) who said: The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Do you have any fine carpets?" I said: How could we have fine carpets?! He said: ... and he mentioned it. Jābir said: So I tell her - meaning his wife -: "Put away your fine carpets from us," and she says: "Did not the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: 'Indeed, you will have the fine carpets'?" So I leave them!

"Allāh said: I have enjoined upon your nation five prayers, and I have made a covenant with Me: that whoever maintains them at their times, I will admit him into Paradise, and whoever does not maintain them, he has no covenant with Me." It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (1403), and Ibn Naṣr in "Qiyām al-Layl" (p. 113) from the route of Baqiyyah ibn al-Walīd: Ḍabārah ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī al-Salīl informed me, from Duwayd ibn Nāfiʿ, from al-Zuhrī who said: Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib said: Abū Qatādah ibn Ribʿī informed him that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned it. I said: And this isnād is weak, Duwayd is reliable; but Ḍabārah is unknown; as in "al-Taqrīb." And the ḥadīth is only authentic from his (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) saying, and it is not a sacred ḥadīth; as narrated from ʿUbādah ibn al-Ṣāmit: with Mālik, Abū Dāwūd, and others, and it is extracted in "al-Targhīb" (1/142)
