It was narrated by Abū Dāwūd and others, and it is included in "Aḥkām al-Janāʾiz" (198-202). It was also narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Ṣaghīr" (p. 100 - Hindiyyah), and in "al-Awsaṭ" number (3664), where he said: Shuʿayb ibn ʿImrān al-ʿAskarī narrated to us, saying: ʿAbdān ibn Muḥammad al-ʿAskarī narrated to us, saying: Yaḥyá ibn Zakarīyā ibn Abī Zāʾidah narrated to us: al-Aʿmash narrated to me, Saʿd ibn ʿUbaydah narrated it to me and it is more complete, and his wording is: "It is said to the disbeliever: Who is your Lord? He says: I do not know, and at that moment he becomes deaf, blind, and mute, and he is struck with a mace, which if it were to strike a mountain, it would turn to dust, and everything hears it except for the two heavy beings." He said: And I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) recite: "Allāh keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in the worldly life and in the Hereafter, and Allāh sends astray the wrongdoers." He said: "No one narrated it from al-Aʿmash except Yaḥyá ibn Zakarīyā." I said: They and those above them are trustworthy from the men of the two Shaykhs; but the two ʿAskarīs below them, I do not know them.

"When the prayer is established and one of you is fasting, let him begin with dinner before the Maghrib prayer, and do not hasten from your dinner." It was recorded by Ibn Ḥibbān in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (2065), and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (5075), both of them recorded it through two routes from Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Malik ibn Wāqid al-Ḥarrānī who said: Mūsá ibn Aʿyun narrated to us, saying: ʿAmr ibn al-Ḥārith narrated to us from Ibn Shihāb that he heard Anas ibn Mālik reporting from the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) who said: ... and he mentioned it. Al-Ṭabarānī said: "No one said in this ḥadīth: 'And one of you is fasting, let him begin with dinner before the Maghrib prayer' except ʿAmr ibn al-Ḥārith, and Mūsá ibn Aʿyun was unique in narrating it."
