Jābir! And Ibn Mājah only has the last sentence of it. Al-Ḥāfiẓ mentioned it in "Tasdīd al-Qaws" with the first part, indicating its completion by saying: "the ḥadīth. Ibn Mājah from the narration of Muḥārib from Jābir." This gives the impression that Ibn Mājah has it in full, but this is not the case as previously mentioned. Al-Ḥāfiẓ Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr mentioned it in "al-Tamhīd" (6/125) in full except for the last part, but he did not find its isnād, saying: "It is narrated from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) with an isnād I do not remember at this time that he said..." and he mentioned it. I have reviewed "Musnad al-Firdaws" through "al-Gharāʾib al-Multaqaṭah" and did not find it there; the copy is confused and incomplete. And Allāh knows best. Despite that, I tend to affirm the ḥadīth due to its corroborating evidence: the first and second sentences have been narrated from Abū Hurayrah in the wording: "In the believer are three qualities..." It was narrated by a group including Abū al-Shaykh, al-Bayhaqī, and others, and it is referenced in the other book: "al-Ḍaʿīfah" (4019). It was also narrated from Ḥārithah ibn al-Nuʿmān by al-Ṭabarānī in the wording: "Three qualities are obligatory for my ummah..." the ḥadīth, and it includes the third sentence similarly. It is referenced in "Ghayat al-Marām" (185/302), with two mursal corroborations for it, one of them from the narration of ʿAbd al-Razzāq, and al-Ḥāfiẓ referred to it in "al-Fatḥ" (10/213) by saying:
