as for the section: "And I was given the keys of the earth"; it is supported by his saying (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): "I was sent with concise speech, and I was supported with awe, and while I was sleeping, I was brought the keys of the treasures of the earth, and they were placed in my hands." It was narrated by the two Shaykhs [al-Bukhārī and Muslim], Ibn Ḥibbān, and others from Abū Hurayrah, and it is included in "al-Taʿlīqāt al-Ḥisān" (8/94/6329).

(Indeed, I saw in my dream as if the sons of al-Ḥakam ibn Abī al-ʿĀṣ were leaping on my pulpit as monkeys leap). It was reported from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, Thawbān, and the mursal of Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib. 1- As for the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah; it is narrated by Muslim ibn Khālid al-Zanjī from al-ʿAlāʾ ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from his father from him that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. He said: The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was not seen laughing fully until he passed away. It was extracted by al-Ḥākim (4/480), and he said: "Authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs."!! Thus he said! And similarly, al-Dhahabī said: "According to the criteria of Muslim"! And both are mistaken; for al-Zanjī is not among the narrators of al-Bukhārī or Muslim! Moreover, he is weak due to his poor memory, as al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb": "A jurist, truthful, but frequently errs."
