in his narration, clarifying the correct aspect of that. 6- al-Aʿraj: It was narrated by al-Shāfiʿī in "al-Umm" (1/137), and through his route: by al-Bayhaqī in "al-Sunan" (3/51) with the first part as well. 7- Abū Jaʿfar: It was narrated by Ibn Abī Shaybah (2/480) from Khalaf ibn Khalīfah from Abū Mālik al-Ashjaʿī from Abū Jaʿfar, from Abū Hurayrah as a mawqūf narration with the first part as well. And Abū Jaʿfar: he is the Madanī; trustworthy. However, Khalaf ibn Khalīfah is truthful but became confused in the end, as stated by al-Ḥāfiẓ in "al-Taqrīb"; so perhaps his narration of the ḥadīth as mawqūf—without the group of trustworthy narrators—is due to his confusions! And in the chapter—on the virtue of congregational prayer—there is a narration from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī; its extraction has been previously mentioned in this "series" (3475). And regarding the gathering of the angels, there is another narration from Abū Hurayrah, which is extracted in "Ẓilāl al-Jannah" (491). *
