the second: Abū Yaʿlá narrated in his "Musnad" (2047) through the chain of Mujālid from al-Shaʿbī from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh—within a ḥadīth—who said: The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was asked about Khadījah—because she died before the obligations and the rulings of the Quran? He said: "I saw her by a river of the rivers of Paradise, in a house made of reeds, where there is no noise nor fatigue." I said: And in it is Mujālid—who is Ibn Saʿīd—one of the well-known weak narrators. Al-Haythamī criticized it in "al-Majmaʿ" (9/416), saying: "And this is among the praised ḥadīths of Mujālid." I said: Yes; perhaps it is strengthened by the ḥadīth of the chapter, as it encompasses the general meaning, and also by the mursal with a sound isnād. (Note): I had previously extracted the ḥadīth earlier in this "series" (1) with number (1554), and by the will of Allāh, it is repeated here after more than fifteen years!
