- "I am the most God-fearing among you and the most knowledgeable of Allāh's limits." It was narrated by Imām Aḥmad (5/434): ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us: Yazīd ibn Aslam informed me from ʿAṭāʾ ibn Yasār from a man of the Anṣār, that the Anṣārī informed ʿAṭāʾ: "that he kissed his wife during the time of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) while he was fasting, and he ordered his wife to ask the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) about that. The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: Indeed, the Messenger of Allāh does that. So his wife informed him, and he said: The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) is given concessions in certain matters, so return to him and tell him. She returned to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and said: He said: The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) is given concessions in certain matters. He said: and he mentioned it. I said: And this is a sound, connected isnād.
