and Abū Nuʿaym in "Ṣifat al-Jannah" (234/402), in "al-Ḥilyah" (9/30), and in "Akhbār Aṣbahān" (2/306), and al-Bayhaqī in "al-Baʿth" (168/296). (Note): Al-Suyūṭī attributed the ḥadīth of Anas to Muslim as well! We see this as an error, and al-Mizzī did not attribute it to him in "al-Tuḥfah". *

(Indeed, in my nation there are twelve hypocrites who will not enter Paradise nor find its fragrance until the camel passes through the eye of the needle; eight of them will be afflicted by the dabilah: a lamp of fire that will appear on their shoulders until it emerges from their chests). It was recorded by Muslim (8/123), Aḥmad (4/320), al-Bayhaqī in "al-Dalāʾil" (5/262), and al-Baghawī in "al-Tafsīr" (4/69) through the route of Shuʿbah from Qatādah from Abū Naḍrah from Qays ibn ʿUbād who said: We said to ʿAmmār: Did you see your fighting as an opinion you held, for opinions can be right or wrong, or was it a covenant the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) made with you? He said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) did not make any covenant with us that he did not make with all people. And he said: Indeed, the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned the ḥadīth. *

(Indeed, in Thaqīf there is a liar and a destroyer). It was reported from the ḥadīth of Asmāʾ bint Abī Bakr al-Ṣiddīq, ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar, and Salāmah bint al-Ḥurr al-Juʿfiyyah. 1 — As for the ḥadīth of Asmāʾ; it was recorded by Muslim (7/190-191), al-Ḥākim in "al-Mustadrak" (3/553), Abū Dāwūd al-Ṭayālisī in "al-Musnad" (1641), and Abū Nuʿaym in
