then he narrated it from al-Mughīrah ibn Saʿd from his father, or from his uncle, who said: I came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) at ʿArafah ... and mentioned the ḥadīth similarly. He said: "ʿAbd Allāh narrated it among his additions, and al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Kabīr' with chains of transmission, and some of the men are trustworthy; despite the weakness in (Yaḥyá ibn ʿĪsá) being considerable." In summary, the ḥadīth, with all these paths, is authentic; as most of them are free from severe weakness, and I see that the isnād of al-Yashkurī is at least ḥasan due to others. And Allāh knows best. It is further strengthened by the fact that it has supporting evidence scattered in several ḥadīths, well-known and famous in 'al-Ṣiḥāḥ' and others; except for the last section, so refer to the previous ḥadīth number (72) if you wish.
- "Treat the Anṣār well—or he said: kindly—accept from their good-doers, and overlook their wrong-doers." It was recorded by Aḥmad (3/241) who said: Muʾammal narrated to us: Ḥammād—meaning: Ibn Salamah—narrated to us: ʿAlī ibn Zayd said: Something reached Muṣʿab ibn al-Zubayr about a leader of the Anṣār; so he intended to act against him, then Anas ibn Mālik entered upon him and said to him: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: ... and he mentioned it. So Muṣʿab threw himself off his bed; placed his cheek on the carpet, and said: The command of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) is above all else; so he left him. I say: This isnād is weak; due to Muʾammal—who is Ibn Ismāʿīl—and ʿAlī ibn Zayd—who is Ibn Judʿān
