I said: it is mursal, and its narrators are trustworthy.

"He used to say one taslīm." It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (1/42/2 - Zawāʾid al-Muʿjamayn) narrated to us by Muʿādh, narrated by ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb, narrated by ʿAbd al-Wahhāb ibn ʿAbd al-Majīd al-Thaqafī from Ḥumayd from Anas with it as marfūʿ. And he said: "No one raised it from Ḥumayd except ʿAbd al-Wahhāb." I said: and he is trustworthy, relied upon by the two Shaykhs, and al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb": "Trustworthy, but he changed three years before his death." I said: but al-Dhahabī said: "I said: but his change did not harm his ḥadīth, for he did not narrate any ḥadīth during the period of change." And the ḥadīth was also narrated by al-Bayhaqī in "al-Sunan" (2/179) through the route of Abū Bakr ibn Isḥāq, who informed us, Abū al-Muthanná narrated to us, ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Ḥujabī with it. And al-Zaylaʿī attributed it in "Naṣb al-Rāyah" (1/433-434) to al-Bayhaqī in "al-Maʿrifah", and he remained silent about it, and al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Dirāyah" (p. 90): "And its narrators are trustworthy." And al-Haythamī mentioned it in "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" (2/134-146) with the wording: "The Prophet ﷺ, Abū Bakr, and ʿUmar (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhum) used to begin the recitation with 'All praise is due to Allāh, Lord of the worlds,' and say one taslīm."
