from his route: it was recorded by al-Quḍāʿī in "Musnad al-Shihāb" (1/180/263), but he said: from Ibrāhīm al-Hijrī from Abū al-Aḥwaṣ from ʿAbd Allāh! It has a corroborating narration; narrated by ʿUmar ibn Yaḥyā ibn Nāfiʿ who said: ʿĪsá ibn Shuʿayb narrated to us saying: Rūḥ ibn al-Qāsim narrated to us from Ayyūb from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. It was recorded by Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr. And ʿUmar ibn Yaḥyā ibn Nāfiʿ: he is al-Abli; as mentioned in the biography of his teacher ʿĪsá ibn Shuʿayb in "Tahdhīb al-Mizzī", and I have not found a biography for him.

(Whoever disowns his child to disgrace him in this world; Allāh will disgrace him on the Day of Resurrection before all witnesses, measure for measure). It was recorded by Aḥmad (2/26), and from his route: al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (12/400/13478) and "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (4/312/4297 - Ḥaramayn), and from him Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (9/223-224): narrated to us Wakīʿ from his father from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī al-Majālid from Mujāhid from Ibn ʿUmar who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned it. I said: And this isnād is good; all its narrators are trustworthy, men of "al-Ṣaḥīḥ"; and in Abū Wakīʿ—whose name is al-Jarrāḥ ibn Malīḥ al-Ruʾāsī—there is weakness, but his ḥadīth does not descend, Allāh willing, from the level of ḥasan. And ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī al-Majālid; it is said in "al-Taqrīb": "It is said: his name is Muḥammad, trustworthy." I said: And he was followed by Layth ibn Abī Sulaym from Mujāhid with a similar narration
