"It was narrated by al-Bazzār, and its narrators are the narrators of 'al-Ṣaḥīḥ', except for al-ʿAbbās ibn Abī Ṭālib, who is trustworthy." I said: It is one of the ḥadīths that al-Haythamī did not include in his book "Kashf al-Astār", although it meets his criteria. Therefore, it is one of the ḥadīths I have noted in my book "Ṣaḥīḥ Kashf al-Astār"; may Allāh facilitate its completion along with its counterpart "Ḍaʿīf Kashf al-Astār" by His grace, generosity, and favor! Dr. Maḥfūẓ al-Raḥmān attributed it in his commentary on "al-Baḥr al-Zakhkhār" to the three collections of al-Ṭabarānī, but he failed to note that it is another ḥadīth, which is: "Three people whom Allāh will not look at on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, and they will have a painful punishment: an old adulterer, a poor arrogant person, and a man to whom Allāh has given merchandise, but he does not sell except by swearing, nor does he buy except by swearing." It was recorded in "al-Kabīr" (6/301/6111), "al-Awsaṭ" (6/288/5573), and "al-Ṣaghīr" (169 - Hindiyyah) through the route of Saʿīd ibn ʿAmr al-Ashʿathī, who said: Ḥafṣ ibn Ghiyāth narrated it. And he said: "No one narrated it from ʿĀṣim except Ḥafṣ, and Saʿīd ibn ʿAmr was the only one to report it." I said: He is also trustworthy, among the teachers of Muslim. Through his route, it was recorded by al-Bayhaqī in "Shuʿab al-Īmān" (4/220/4852). In its meaning, there are other ḥadīths that complement each other; some of which were compiled by Abū Jaʿfar al-Ṭaḥāwī in "Mushkil al-Āthār" (4/378-381), explaining that there is no contradiction between them; refer to it if you wish for further benefit.*
