Fourth: The ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah: It was narrated by Muslim (7/175), al-Nasāʾī in "al-Kubrā" (8343), Ibn Ḥibbān (7286), ʿAbd al-Razzāq (19910), and Aḥmad (2/267) from the route of al-Zuhrī from Abū Salamah and ʿUbayd Allāh ibn ʿAbd Allāh from him. Al-Bukhārī included in "al-Tārīkh al-Kabīr" (7/299) the aforementioned ḥadīth of Abū Usayd and this ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, both from the route of Abū Salamah, then he said: "The first is more authentic," meaning the ḥadīth of Abū Usayd, and Allāh knows best. (Benefit): Al-Bukhārī mentioned in "al-Tārīkh al-Kabīr" (7/288-289) in the biography of (Mūsá ibn ʿAmr ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Ḥarām al-Najjārī al-Anṣārī, one of the Banū Dīnār, from his father from the Prophet ﷺ), he said: "The best of the dwellings of the Banū Anṣār are the Banū al-Najjār ...," narrated by Ibn Abī Uways. And I did not find it with a chain of narration from him in what I researched! And he said, may Allāh have mercy on him, in another place in "his Tārīkh" (6/352): "Ibrāhīm ibn Ḥamzah: ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn ʿAmr ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Anṣārī narrated to us: Ibn ʿAbbās, may Allāh be pleased with him, said: The Prophet ﷺ said: 'The best of the dwellings of the Anṣār: the Banū (such and such) ʿAbd al-Ashhal ...', then Abū Usayd, may Allāh be pleased with him, said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'The best of the dwellings of the Anṣār: the Banū (such and such) al-Najjār ...', and this is more authentic." And Ibrāhīm ibn Ḥamzah — mentioned — is one of the teachers of al-Bukhārī; as in "Tahdhīb al-Kamāl" (2/77), and he is trustworthy
