all of its inhabitants, whether in the higher or lower areas, pray, fast, and break their fast based on the call to prayer from its mosque! And why should we go far; I have witnessed, along with others, in some villages of Amman, such as (Naour) - when we went to perform the Maghrib prayer in its mosque - the sun had not yet set, and the call to prayer was being announced from the loudspeaker on the minaret, broadcast from the state radio from some areas of Amman! These conflicting scenes are repeated in many countries as we have seen and heard similar accounts from others; I have explained this in another place in the comments and directives. The point is: that the praise mentioned for the muezzins in this ḥadīth; today they are not deserving of it, because they do not observe the sun and... to know the prayer times they were entrusted with, and the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) prayed for their forgiveness if they fulfilled it, in his saying (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): "The imam is responsible, and the muezzin is entrusted, O Allāh! Guide the imams and forgive the muezzins." Perhaps those muezzins who have control over their call to prayer, and those rulers who are zealous about the rulings of the religion, will care for the muezzins and guide them in the rulings of their religion and their call to prayer, enabling them to fulfill the trust that has been assigned to them, knowing his saying (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): "Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock." "Indeed, in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or listens while he is present" (Sūrah Qāf, 37)!
فأهلها جميعاً من كان في الأعلى أو الأدنى من مناطقها يصلون ويصومون ويفطرون على أذان مسجدها! وما لنا نذهب بعيداً؛ فقد شاهدت أنا وغيري في بعض قرى عمان؛ (الناعور) - لما ذهبنا إلى صلاة المغرب في مسجدها- الشمس لما تغرب بعد، والأذان يعلن من مكبر الصوت الذي على المنارة مذاعاً من إذاعة الدولة من بعض مناطق عمان! وتتكرر هذه المشاهد المخالفة في كثير من البلاد كما رأينا وسمعنا مثله من غيرنا؛ وقد بينت هذا في مكان آخر من التعليقات والتوجيهات. والمقصود: أن الثناء المذكور على المؤذنين في هذا الحديث؛ صاروا اليوم غير مستحقين له؛ بسبب أنهم لا يراعون الشمس و.. ولمعرفة أوقات الصلاة التي ائتمنوا عليها، ودعا لهم رسول الله ﷺ: بالمغفرة لو قاموا بها في قوله ﷺ: "الإمام ضامن، والمؤذن مؤتمن، اللهم! أرشد الأئمة، واغفر للمؤذنين ". فلعل من كان يملك أذانه من المؤذنين، ومن كان من الحكام الغيورين على أحكام الدين يهتمون بالمؤذنين وتوجيههم أحكام دينهم وأذانهم، ويمكنونهم من أداء الأمانة التي أنيطت بهم، وهم يعلمون قوله ﷺ: "كلكم راع وكلكم مسؤول عن رعيته ". ﴿إن في ذلك لذكرى لمن كان له قلب أوألقى السمع وهو شهيد﴾ ! *
- (There is no woman among you who loses three children, except that Allāh will admit her to Paradise. A woman among them said: O Messenger of Allāh! And the one with two [children]?
