he said: Ishāq ibn Ibrāhīm, the companion of the falcon, narrated to us, saying: al-Aʿmash narrated to us from Zayd ibn Wahb from ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb in a marfūʿ manner. And he said: "It is not narrated from al-Aʿmash except through this route." I said: It is weak due to the anonymity of this Ishāq, and Ibn al-Wathīq has been weakened; as you can see in "al-Mīzān" and "Lisānah." Moreover, his statement: "The best century,..." is objectionable; because what is preserved in the authentic ḥadīths is: "The best of people..." in "al-Ṣaḥīḥayn" and others, and some of them have been previously referenced under numbers (699 and 700). (Note): The name of the father of (Ḥammād ibn Yazīd) was altered in "Musnad al-Ṭayālisī" to: (Zayd)! And its arranger Shaykh Aḥmad al-Bannā al-Sāʿātī did not notice it in "Minḥat al-Maʿbūd" in two places (2/71 and 199)!! May Allāh have mercy on him. And the name of (Abū Dāwūd), the narrator from (Ḥammād ibn Yazīd), was omitted from the isnād of "al-Kashf," and its editor Shaykh al-Aʿẓamī did not notice it. May Allāh have mercy on him. *

- (Blessed is he, then blessed is he, then blessed is he. Meaning: the one who believed in him (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and did not see him). It was recorded by Aḥmad (4/152 - Musnad of ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir): Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd narrated to us: Muḥammad - meaning: Ibn Isḥāq - narrated to us: Yazīd ibn Abī Ḥabīb narrated to me from Marthad ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Yazani from Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Juhani who said: While we were with the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam); two riders appeared, and when he saw them, he said: "They are from Kindah and Madhḥij."
