It was recorded by Abū Yaʿlá in "his Musnad" (8/137-138/4679): Abū Hishām Muḥammad ibn Yazīd ibn Rifāʿah narrated to us: Isḥāq ibn Sulaymān al-Rāzī narrated to us: Muʿāwiyah from al-Zuhrī from ʿUrwah from ʿĀʾishah. I said: This isnād is weak due to the weakness of Abū Hishām al-Rifāʿī according to the majority. Al-Bukhārī said: "I saw them unanimously agreeing on his weakness." And similarly, Muʿāwiyah, who is Ibn Yaḥyá al-Ṣudafī, and only he was criticized by the commentator on "Musnad Abī Yaʿlá"! As for the statement of al-Haythamī: "It was narrated by Abū Yaʿlá and its men are trustworthy." It is a pure mistake; I do not know how it was issued from him! And from the lack of knowledge and understanding is the statement of the aforementioned commentator: "We say: but it is supported by the ḥadīth of Anas mentioned earlier..." meaning: the saying of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): "Partake in the pre-dawn meal, for indeed there is a blessing in the pre-dawn meal" agreed upon. (al-Rawḍ 49 and 1089). This is because it is an incomplete witness that does not describe the pre-dawn meal as "the blessed meal," so reflect.
أخرجه أبو يعلى في "مسنده " (٨/١٣٧-١٣٨/٤٦٧٩): حدثنا أبو هشام محمد بن يزيد بن رفاعة: حدثنا إسحاق بن سليمان الرازي: حدثنا معاوية عن الزهري عن عروة عن عائشة. قلت: وهذا إسناد ضعيف؛ لضعف أبي هشام الرفاعي عند الجمهور. وقال البخاري: "رأيتهم مجمعين على ضعفه". ومثله معاوية وهو ابن يحيى الصدفي، وبه فقط أعله المعلق على "مسند أبي يعلى"! وأما قول الهيثمي: "رواه أبو يعلى ورجاله ثقات". فهو وهم محض لا أدري كيف صدر منه! ومن قلة العلم والفقه، قوله المعلق المشار إليه: "نقول: لكن يشهد له حديث أنس المتقدم ... ". يعني: قول- ﷺ: "تسحروا فإن في السحور بركة" متفق عليه. (الروض ٤٩ و ١٠٨٩). وذلك؛ لأنه شاهد قاصر ليس فيه وصف السحور بـ "الغداء المبارك" فتأمل.
