in their error, and they further added to the confusion by attributing the ḥadīth to them with numbers! (See their embellished edition 4/290)! Secondly: Some ḥadīth scholars explicitly attributed the addition to al-Bukhārī; as reported by al-Ḥāfiẓ in "al-Fatḥ" (11/382) from al-Ṭībī, who said: "Then I saw in 'Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī' in the 'Chapter of Gathering' (meaning: the one with the aforementioned number!) : 'People will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection'..." Thirdly: al-Ḥāfiẓ responded to him and opposed him, commenting by saying: "I said: I did not find in any of the chains of the ḥadīth that al-Bukhārī produced the wording: 'on the Day of Resurrection'; neither in his 'Ṣaḥīḥ' nor elsewhere, and similarly, it is with Muslim, al-Ismāʿīlī, and others; it does not include: 'on the Day of Resurrection'." I said: He missed the narration of al-Nasāʾī, for only Allāh encompasses all knowledge.

(If that which a fingernail could hold from what is in Paradise were to appear, it would adorn the expanses of the heavens and the earth, and if a man from the people of Paradise were to look out and his bracelets were to appear, it would obliterate the light of the sun just as the sun obliterates the light of the stars).
