from this analysis and verification, it becomes clear to you the error in al-Mundhirī's statement in "al-Targhīb" (3/200): "Abū Yaʿlá narrated it with a good isnād"! and al-Haythamī's statement in "al-Majmaʿ" (4/298-299): "Abū Yaʿlá, al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Kabīr', and al-Bazzār narrated it, and the men of Abū Yaʿlá are the men of 'al-Ṣaḥīḥ'; except for ʿUthmān ibn al-Yamān, and he is trustworthy"! Thus he said! I did not see it in "al-Ṭabarānī's Kabīr", neither in "Musnad ʿUmar" nor in "Musnad Khuzaymah ibn Thābit". Furthermore, Zamʿah ibn Ṣāliḥ—with his weakness—was not relied upon in "al-Ṣaḥīḥ", neither in "Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī" nor in "Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim", and this was only narrated from him in conjunction with others. Indeed; the ḥadīth is authentic due to its supporting evidence. Among them: from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Anṣārī, elevated to the Prophet, similar to it. It was extracted by al-Ṭaḥāwī (2/26) and al-Dāraquṭnī in "his Sunan" (3/288/160) through the route of al-Ḥasan ibn ʿArafah: narrated by Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh from Suhayl ibn Abī Ṣāliḥ from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir from him. I said: And this isnād's men are trustworthy, so it is authentic; except that Ibn ʿAyyāsh is weak in narrating from non-Shāmīs, and this is among them. He was followed by al-Ḍaḥḥāk ibn ʿUthmān from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir with it in a shortened form with the wording: (1) the original: (Yaʿlá)! It is a typographical error
