this "does not include: (al-Mughīrah ibn Muslim), and it is in "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (8/209/7429-ṭ) via the route of Abū Yazīd al-Kūfī, Bishr ibn ʿAbd al-Malik, who said: Muḥammad ibn Sawāʾ (original: Sawād!) narrated to us from Saʿīd ibn Abī ʿArūbah from Qatādah from al-Qāsim ibn ʿAwf al-Shaybānī from Zayd ibn Arqam in a concise elevated report, with the wording: "A woman should not refuse her husband herself, even if she is on a saddle." And this is a strong corroboration from Muḥammad ibn Sawāʾ; for he is trustworthy among the men of the two Shaykhs. As for Bishr ibn ʿAbd al-Malik; I had mentioned earlier in this book under ḥadīth (1203) in the third volume, and I cited this ḥadīth as a witness for it; I said: "I did not know this Bishr, and refer to "al-Jarḥ wa-al-Taʿdīl" for him; for I cannot elaborate on it now." In the new edition of this volume, I commented on it with the summary that he is trustworthy, so refer to it, and thus the isnād is good and strong. And with Allāh is success.
