the naming of the narrator in the transmission of al-Ṭabarānī and Abū Nuʿaym as (ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUbaydah); he is a trustworthy follower, so the issue is his brother (Mūsá ibn ʿUbaydah), and for this reason—and Allāh knows best—al-Haythamī only criticized it because of him. Al-Khaṭīb also narrated it in "al-Tārīkh" (9/70) from the ḥadīth of Jābir in a summarized form; and he criticized it because of (Saʿīd ibn Zakariyyā al-Madāʾinī); Yaḥyá ibn Maʿīn said about him: "He is nothing." I say: and his teacher al-Zubayr ibn Saʿīd al-Hāshimī; the ḥāfiẓ said: "Weak in ḥadīth." Al-Ḥāfiẓ al-Suyūṭī said in "al-Jāmiʿ al-Kabīr" (1/408) - after attributing it to Ibn Shāhīn and Ibn ʿAsākir as well: "Ibn Shāhīn said: A strange ḥadīth, I do not know anyone who narrated it except Saʿīd ibn Zakariyyā from al-Zubayr ibn Saʿīd, and the well-known ḥadīth is that of al-Shaʿbī from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr."

- (Whoever hoards goods intending to raise their price for the Muslims; he is a sinner). It was narrated by Aḥmad (2/354), and Ibn ʿAdī (7/54) through the route of Abū Maʿshar from Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr ibn ʿAlqamah from Abū Salamah from Abū Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned it. I say this isnād is good for supporting evidence. And Abū Maʿshar—whose name is Najīḥ al-Sindī—has some weakness that does not prevent using him as supporting evidence, and this is the meaning of al-Haythamī's statement in "al-Majmaʿ" (4/101):
