and the other: that ʿUmārah ibn Rāshid is unknown, with no one narrating from him except al-ʾIfrīqī. I say: this is what al-Bazzār knew, and Allāh does not burden a soul beyond its capacity, but two others have narrated from him, as mentioned by Ibn Abī Ḥātim in "al-Jarḥ wa-al-Taʿdīl" and Ibn ʿAsākir in "al-Tārīkh." Ibn Ḥibbān said in "al-Thiqāt" (5/244): "The people of Shām and Miṣr narrated from him." Despite this, Abū Ḥātim said: "Unknown"! al-Dhahabī critiqued this in "al-Mughnī" by saying: "Rather, he is known." And his statement in "al-Mīzān": "I said: A group has narrated from him, and his status is honesty." al-Ḥāfiẓ affirmed this in "al-Lisān," and even supported it with Ibn Ḥibbān's authentication. I said: so this chain is suitable for citation, if Allāh wills. As for the supporting narration; it is narrated by Sulaym ibn ʿĀmir from Abū Umāmah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was asked: Do the people of Paradise marry? He said: ... then he mentioned something similar to the ḥadīth of the other chain, except that he said: "Dahman Dahman" instead of: "and a private part that does not wear out." It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (8/187-188/7674), and also by Abū Nuʿaym (368) through the route of Hāshim ibn Zayd and others from him
والأخر: أن (عمارة بن راشد) مجهول، لم يرو عنه غير الإفريقي. فأقول: هذا ما أحاط به علم البزار، ولا يكلف الله نفسأ إلا وسعها، لكن قد روى عنه آخران؛ كما ذكر ابن أبي حاتم في "الجرح والتعديل "، وابن عساكر في "التاريخ ". وقال ابن حبان في "الثقات " (٥/٢٤٤) :"روى عنه أهل الشام ومصر". ومع ذلك قال أبو حاتم:"مجهول "! فتعقبه الذهبي في "المغني " بقوله:" بل معروف ". وقوله في "الميزان ":"قلت: قد روى عنه جماعة، ومحله الصدق ". وأقره الحافظ في "اللسان "، بل وأيده بتوثيق ابن حبان. قلت: فهذه الطريق تصلح للاستشهاد إن شاء الله تعالى. وأما الشاهد؛ فيرويه سليم بن عامر عن أبي أمامة قال: سئل رسول الله ﷺ: هل يتناكح أهل الجنة؛ فقال: ... فذكر مثل حديث الطريق الآخر، إلا أنه قال:"دحماً دحماً " مكان: "وفرج لا يحفى". أخرجه الطبراني في "المعجم الكبير" (٨/١٨٧ ـ ١٨٨/٧٦٧٤) ، وأبو نعيم أيضاً (٣٦٨) من طريق هاشم بن زيد وغيره عنه.
