"he divided it among the women of the family of Fāṭimah." This was recorded by Muslim (6/142).

- "The angels were carrying it with them," referring to the funeral of Saʿd ibn Muʿādh (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu). This was recorded by Ibn Ḥibbān in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (9/89/6993 - al-Iḥsān), where he said: al-Ḥasan ibn Sufyān informed us: Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-ʿAllāf narrated to us: Muḥammad ibn Sawāʾ narrated to us: Shuʿbah narrated from Qatādah from Anas: that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said—while the funeral of Saʿd was placed—"The Throne of the Most Merciful shook for him." The hypocrites began to speak at his funeral, saying: "How light it is!" This reached the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and he said: ... and he mentioned it. I say: This isnād is good, all its narrators are trustworthy and well-known, except for Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-ʿAllāf, whom Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned in "al-Thiqāt" for his narration from Muḥammad ibn Sawāʾ and Abū ʿĀṣim, and he said (9/89): "al-Ḥasan ibn Sufyān narrated from him." I say: Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim also narrated from him, as will be mentioned, and Ibn Abī Dāwūd, also the ḥāfiẓ son of the ḥāfiẓ, as in "Sharḥ Maʿānī al-Āthār" (2/343). Thus, he is truthful and his ḥadīth is considered good, especially in supporting narrations. Ibn Ḥibbān also recorded for him with this isnād from Anas another ḥadīth regarding: (Saʿd's handkerchiefs in Paradise), and its extraction was mentioned in the ḥadīth before this, but it occurred with (Saʿīd) instead of (Shuʿbah), which is correct as will be mentioned, and he also recorded for him (5720)
