and similarly is the ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah that he mentioned. It is recorded in "al-Irwāʾ" (2/20-23) and "Ṣaḥīḥ Abī Dāwūd" (752). In summary: the ḥadīth of the chapter is authentic without doubt due to the good isnād of al-Dāraqutnī and Baḥshal, as previously explained, and it is not weakened by the narration of Muslim al-Farwī, because it is through the route of Bayān—who is Ibn Bishr al-Aḥmasī, a reliable and trustworthy narrator. Furthermore, it reaches the level of authenticity with some of the five supporting evidences, some of which are suitable for testimony and some are not. Finally, the testimony of the ḥadīth of Abū Ḥumayd and ʿĀʾishah in terms of meaning, noting that their words are from their own creation and expressions, and although they differ in wording, they are united in meaning, as the ḥāfiẓ indicated. So seize this verification, which you may not find elsewhere. And Allāh is the one who grants success. *

- (He loved ʿAlī). It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (6/389/5828) and "al-Muʿjam al-Ṣaghīr" (199 - Hindiyyah): Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn Abū Ḥuṣayn al-Qāḍī narrated to us: he said: ʿAwn ibn Salām narrated to us, he said: ʿĪsá ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Sulamī narrated from al-Suddī from Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Jaddalī, he said: Umm Salamah said to me: Is the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ being insulted among you on the pulpits?! I said: Glory be to Allāh! How could the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ be insulted?! She said: Is not ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib and those who love him being insulted? And I testify that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ loved him! Al-Ṭabarānī said: "No one narrated it from al-Suddī except ʿĪsá."
